The 10 plaques currently in the Franklins range, depict various scenes from time gone by.
Ideally suited to artists of hobbiests of any level, many hours of enjoyment and calm can be had whilst painting the plaques, and or course hanging on the wall to display, will give you the chance to show off all your creativity.
We supply colour suggestions for all plaques, but these are only for guidelines the best plaques are the ones you paint in your own style and colour scheme, indeed we have had some painted in different seasons, and the resuts are spectacular, so don't be afraid to experiment.
Remember should you make a mistake, or not like it when it's finished, just paint over the area of the plaque you are not happy with in white paint and start again, this way you are guarenteed to get it right, and have a great plaque mounted on your wall for many years to come.

Here is a sample of CP05 Village Church plaque, using simple colours, with minimal paint mixing, as you can see the browns, reds and greens complement each other quite well and the lighter church draws your eyes up the path and right to the steeple, you then begin to notice the buildings to the left and right with the floral colours bright to light up the front of the plaque, this works quite well and the sky makes for a beautiful summersday in a little sleepy village.
